About Red Bull
Red Bull Flugtag returned to St. Paul for a second time in 2019. The event, in which competitors attempt to fly home-made, human-powered flying machines drew crowds to the Mississippi waterfront in 2010 and Red Bull was looking to replicate that success.
The Challenge: Amplify awareness in the Midwest and drive attendance for the return of one of Red Bull’s flagship events, Red Bull Flugtag.

Taking flight
Invited and coordinated media onsite for the announcement of Red Bull Flugtag St. Paul at a press conference, in which the Mayor of St. Paul skydived to the podium to share the news.

Managed all details in coordination with the production team for the press conference and day of events for attending media, influencers, judges, hosts and MCs.
Local love
Secured media locally and in key regional markets to drive attendance and utilized participating teams as the spokespeople to showcase how the event was being localized. Judges and on-site hosts were also local media, sports and social personalities.
