Founded by three siblings in Florida, the Coba family developed a proprietary method of hair removal with a bright purple wax consumers had never before seen. After major success in the Florida market, European Wax Center franchised the concept and engaged Lola Red to introduce this unique offering to its target consumers.

The Challenge: Create demand for the wax-only concept among consumers and potential franchise owners.

Reaching new regions

We developed a Grand Opening playbook based on the success of our Twin Cities opening program. The Grand Opening strategy helped franchise owners launch in new markets across the country.

Introducing a new way to wax

We developed relationships with the nation’s top beauty editors who could share with the masses how European Wax Center was different than other concepts and why consumers should pay attention. These relationships were key in supporting the launch of EWC’s product line.

Promoting sibling success

To create credibility with the franchise and business audience, we shared the siblings founder story to secure national business media coverage. In addition, we created a schedule of growth updates to share with business and franchise media that demonstrated the concept was a must-watch.

While working with Lola Red, European Wax Center sold all available regions to franchisees looking to open European Wax Center locations across the U.S.
