Capturing the magic of tech, coding, and the movies

Sphero

About Sphero

Sphero began the connected play revolution in 2010 by creating something unlike anything else consumers had ever seen. What started with a robotic ball controlled from a smartphone, now expands to a full product line up ranging from education and galaxies far, far away.

The Challenge: To build Sphero as the global leader in connected play.

The Solution

Working across technology, lifestyle, influencer, and entertainment verticals to make Sphero a household name.

Rolling from coast to coast

We met with 20+ key tech and lifestyle journalists in New York City and San Francisco to give them an embargoed preview of the products that Sphero was launching to consumer.

Trade show tactics

We accompanied Sphero to major trade shows such as CES (Consumers Electronics Show) in Las Vegas, SXSW in Austin and Toy Fair in NYC, to tell the Sphero story and launch the latest and greatest consumer technology products to the masses.

Combining entertainment and education

We sparked an interest in robotics among classrooms across the United States with Sphero's SPRK (students, parents, robots, kids) program. SPRK helped kids, parents and teachers everywhere learn to code with ease through a simple app and community of like-minded individuals.

Disrupting the tech industry from Colorado

We exposed the founders, Adam Wilson and Ian Bernstein to the consumer technology masses and showcased CEO Paul Berberian's business prowess when bringing a startup from the new kid on the playground to one of the biggest players out there.

The Results

Lola Red helped to demonstrate Sphero as an industry leader among competitors, technology media and consumers alike by helping to establish notoriety, partnerships and and accolades from some of the biggest media houses and corporations in the world.

700+ million

Media impressions have been earned for Sphero between 2015–2017.

10+

Product launches have occurred for Sphero and resulted in top tier national media coverage.

12+

Awards have been won on behalf of Sphero's work in robotics, technology, education and company growth.

"I’ve been on your side of the table and I’ve worked with a handful of agencies being on this side of the table. I honestly do not know what I did to deserve this team, you are all amazing."
